NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 3,107 Organization updates, 9,461 individual updates and 227 deactivations. Houston, with 148 updates is the new leading city this week from the 1,139 updates of the top ten cities, followed by New York. In the last update, Fredericksburg was the leading city with 4 updates. 
California is the leading state this week with 1,314 updates of the 12,795 updates. Texas follows in second place with 894 updates.
