The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have jumped compared to the previous one. NPI database changes in this monthly update have the following details: 4,654 Organization updates, 79,609 individual updates and 16 deactivations. Houston, with 1,135 updates remains the leading city this month from the 7,843 updates of the top ten cities. Texas is the leading state this month with 5,839 updates from the 37,638 updates of the top ten States. Florida follows in second place with 5,360 updates.
