The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 1,254 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 2,518 Organization updates, 11,514 individual updates and 438 deactivations. Houston, with 212 updates is the new leading city this week from the 1,402 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Chicago. In the last update, Chicago was the leading city with 184 updates. California, with 1,482 updates remains the leading state this week. Texas follows in second place.
