The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 3,304 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 3,029 Organization updates, 15,876 individual updates and 432 deactivations. North Carolina, with 3,396 updates is the new leading state this week from the 11,761 updates of the top ten States, followed by California. In the last update, California was the leading state with 1,914 updates. 
Charlotte, with 1,814 updates is the new leading city this week from the 3,441 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Concord. In the last update, New York was the leading city with 196 updates.
