The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 2,985 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,167 Organization updates, 12,823 individual updates and 675 deactivations. 
California, with 2,184 updates is the new leading state this week from the 9,312 updates of the top ten States, followed by Florida. In the last update, North Carolina was the leading state with 3,724 updates. Louisville, with 448 updates is the new leading city this week from the 1,658 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Houston. In the last update, Charlotte was the leading city with 1,841 updates.
