The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down compared to the previous one. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,077 Organization updates, 17,334 individual updates and 523 deactivations. California is the leading state this week with 2,277 updates from the 11,954 updates of the top ten States. Illinois follows in second place with 1,831 updates. 
Chicago is the new city with the most updates this week followed by Houston. In the last update, Houston was the leading city. In the last update, Houston was the leading city.
