The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 32,645 records. NPI database changes in this monthly update have the following details: 17,548 Organization updates, 32,480 individual updates and 382 deactivations. Chicago, with 632 updates is the new leading city this month from the 4,553 updates of the top ten cities. In the last update, Rochester was the leading city with 397 updates. 
California is the leading state this month with 4,624 updates remains the leading state of the 50,410 updates.
