The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 336 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 5,230 Organization updates, 18,905 individual updates and 593 deactivations. California is the leading state this week with 3,304 updates of the 24,728 updates. Florida follows in second place with 1,840 updates. Los Angeles, with 244 updates is the new leading city this week from the 2,021 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Houston. In the last update, Seattle was the leading city with 301 updates.
