The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 2,877 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 3,821 Organization updates, 15,411 individual updates and 449 deactivations. 
California, with 2,414 updates is the new leading state this week followed by Florida. In the last update, North Carolina was the leading state. Las Vegas, with 212 updates is the new leading city this week followed by Charlotte. In the last update, Charlotte was the leading city.
