The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 172,548 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 167,068 Organization updates, 17,750 individual updates and 9,660 deactivations. 
MiamI, with 2,370 updates is the new leading city this week from the 14,136 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Houston. In the last update, Rochester was the leading city with 1,369 updates. California is the leading state this week with 18,149 updates of the 194,478 updates. Florida follows in second place with 13,291 updates.
