NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 3,689 Organization updates, 11,979 individual updates and 133 deactivations. California is the leading state this week with 1,682 updates of the 15,801 updates. Florida follows in second place with 1,261 updates. 
Chicago, with 258 updates is the new leading city this week from the 1,448 updates of the top ten cities, followed by New York. In the last update, Houston was the leading city with 172 updates.
