The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 3,296 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,280 Organization updates, 8,211 individual updates and 123 deactivations. New York, with 139 updates is the new leading city this week from the 1,030 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Houston. In the last update, Brooklyn was the leading city with 271 updates. 
California is the leading state this week with 1,377 updates of the 12,614 updates. Florida follows in second place with 1,049 updates.
