The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 1,259 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,076 Organization updates, 18,176 individual updates and 848 deactivations. 
Charlotte, with 1,985 updates is the new leading city this week followed by Concord. In the last update, Madison was the leading city. North Carolina, with 3,856 updates is the new leading state this week followed by California. In the last update, California was the leading state.
