The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have jumped compared to the previous one. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 1,561 Organization updates, 5,499 individual updates and 182 deactivations. California, with 915 updates remains the leading state this week. San Diego, with 96 updates is the new leading city this week from the 729 updates of the top ten cities. In the last update, Kansas City was the leading city with 138 updates.
