The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 73 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 5,575 Organization updates, 21,203 individual updates and 563 deactivations. California, with 3,511 updates remains the leading state this week. Las Vegas, with 339 updates is the new leading city this week followed by Chicago. In the last update, Chicago was the leading city.
