The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 1,085 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,896 Organization updates, 20,760 individual updates and 600 deactivations. 
Chicago, with 295 updates is the new leading city this week followed by Las Vegas. In the last update, Las Vegas was the leading city. California, with 3,057 updates remains the leading state this week. Florida follows in second place.
