The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 532,484 records. NPI database changes in this monthly update have the following details: 139,402 Organization updates, 420,712 individual updates and 14 deactivations. Texas, with 41,737 updates is the new leading state this month from the 281,804 updates of the top ten States, followed by California. In the last update, California was the leading state with 2,616 updates. 
Houston, with 7,220 updates remains the leading city this month from the 39,975 updates of the top ten cities.
