The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down compared to the previous one. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 3,942 Organization updates, 13,718 individual updates and 165 deactivations. Houston, with 242 updates is the new leading city this week. In the last update, San Antonio was the leading city. Texas, with 2,176 updates is the new leading state this week. In the last update, California was the leading state.
