The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 4,821 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,217 Organization updates, 17,243 individual updates and 486 deactivations. 
North Carolina, with 3,927 updates is the new leading state this week from the 12,997 updates of the top ten States. Charlotte, with 1,971 updates is the new leading city this week from the 3,988 updates of the top ten cities.
