The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 6,754 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 3,869 Organization updates, 14,838 individual updates and 284 deactivations. 
Houston, with 211 updates is the new leading city this week followed by New York. In the last update, Farmington Hills was the leading city. California is the leading state this week with 2,317 updates of the 18,991 updates. Florida follows in second place.
