NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,557 Organization updates, 17,242 individual updates and 505 deactivations. Chicago, with 388 updates remains the leading city this week from the 2,083 updates of the top ten cities. 
California is the leading state this week with 2,472 updates of the 22,304 updates. Florida follows in second place.
