The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 5,837 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 7,795 Organization updates, 13,960 individual updates and 180 deactivations. 
Rochester, with 251 updates is the new leading city this week from the 1,951 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Las Vegas. In the last update, Saint Louis was the leading city with 190 updates. California is the leading state this week with 2,862 updates of the 21,935 updates. Texas follows in second place.
