The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 63,174 records. NPI database changes in this monthly update have the following details: 1,094 Organization updates, 3,055 individual updates and 184,759 deactivations. 
California, with 357 updates is the new leading state this month followed by Texas. In the last update, Texas was the leading state. New York, with 73 updates is the new leading city this month followed by Farmington. In the last update, Houston was the leading city.
