The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed compared to the previous one. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,918 Organization updates, 16,128 individual updates and 441 deactivations. California is the leading state this week with 2,248 updates from the 11,477 updates of the top ten States. Texas follows in second place with 1,583 updates. Chicago, with 340 updates remains the leading city this week from the 1,859 updates of the top ten cities.
