The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 83,688 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 25,033 Organization updates, 80,211 individual updates and 1,136 deactivations. 
California, with 12,127 updates remains the leading state this week from the 56,156 updates of the top ten States. Florida follows in second place with 8,147 updates.New York, with 1,194 updates is the new leading city this week followed by Los Angeles.
