The weekly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 4,517 records. NPI database changes in this weekly update have the following details: 4,911 Organization updates, 23,198 individual updates and 699 deactivations. New York, with 556 updates is the new leading city this week from the 3,068 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Albuquerque. In the last update, Rochester was the leading city with 1,632 updates. 
California, with 3,720 updates is the new leading state this week from the 15,249 updates of the top ten States, followed by Florida. In the last update, New York was the leading state with 3,502 updates.
