The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release fell compared to the previous one. NPI database changes in this monthly update have the following details: 161,181 Organization updates, 352,922 individual updates and 105,439 deactivations. 
Houston, with 6,055 updates remains the leading city this month from the 44,289 updates of the top ten cities. California is the leading state this month with 48,365 updates.
