The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 16,113 records. NPI database changes in this monthly update have the following details: 3,436 Organization updates, 14,289 individual updates and 40 deactivations. California is the leading state this month with 1,459 updates of the 17,765 updates. Florida follows in second place. 
Rochester, with 397 updates is the new leading city this month followed by New York. In the last update, Las Vegas was the leading city.
