The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release went down by 3,779,996 records. NPI database changes in this monthly update have the following details: 903,040 Organization updates, 3,256,844 individual updates and 214,252 deactivations. New York, with 54,068 updates is the new leading city this month from the 343,200 updates of the top ten cities, followed by Houston. In the last update, Houston was the leading city with 5,916 updates. 
California, with 502,050 updates is the new leading state this month from the 2,237,600 updates of the top ten States, followed by New York. In the last update, Texas was the leading state with 34,605 updates.
