The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release fell compared to the previous one. A detailed breakdown of the update data is as follows: 1,706 Organization updates, 547,111 individual updates and 138,927 deactivations. 
New York, with 7,543 updates is the new leading city this month. In the last update, Houston was the leading city. California is the leading state this month with 53,140 updates remains the leading state from the 266,115 updates of the top ten States.
