The monthly National Plan and Provider Enumeration System(NPPES) database release have climbed to 47,019 records. NPI database changes in this monthly update have the following details: 1,242 Organization updates, 555,099 individual updates and 157,485 deactivations. 
California, with 53,205 updates remains the leading state this month. New York remains the city with the most updates this month.
